Burch Thomsen, a longstanding member of BAMA, passed away recently after a 1 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer. Burch had a long and fruitful career in the banking and lending industry. His list of employers includes Crocker Bank, Hibernia Bank, Embarcadero Mortgage Corporation, Commercial Bank of San Francisco, Owens Financial and American California Bank.

A memorial service was held on March 26th in Moraga, where Burch had lived for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. www.pancan.org
